C18150 CHROMIUM COPPER ROUND BAR

C18150 CHROMIUM COPPER ROUND BAR

C18150 Chromium Copper Round Bars are alloy between copper - chromium - Zircomium with a chromium (Cr) content of less than 0.6 ~ 1.2%. Copper chromium alloy round bar always achieves high durability, corrosion resistance and high electrical conductivity. Durability - the hardness of chromium copper is twice that of pure copper but the electrical conductivity is only 85% of IACS. This type has many different names according to internationally recognized standards such as CZ-5, C18150, MC1Z, CW 106C.

OVERVIEW OF C18150 CHROMIUM COPPER ROUND BAR

C18150 Chromium Copper Round Bars are called high copper alloys, containing 0.6 to 1.2% Cr. Chromium copper alloy is used because of its high strength, corrosion resistance and good electrical conductivity. C18150 Chromium Copper Round Bars have good hardness and mechanical properties due to the change in properties that occurs at high temperatures with the precipitation of chromium from the solid solution. The durability and working life of machine parts using this material are always stable at high temperatures, without changing their original properties.

Regarding corrosion resistance, C18150 Chromium Copper Alloy is very good because the alloy contains chromium, which improves the chemical properties of the protective oxide film. This layer is quite important and determines the durability and working life. of machined details. Advantages Chromium bronze has excellent cold formability and good hot workability. Therefore, C18150 Chromium Copper Round Bars are mainly used in applications such as resistance welding electrodes, seam welding wheels, switching gears, cable connectors, circuit breakers, molds, spot welding heads and electrical and thermal conductors. Chromium copper alloys are designated UNS C18150 to C18200.

During the production of C18150 Chromium Copper Round Bars, a hardening reaction occurs because the solid solubility of chromium in copper decreases as the temperature decreases. The structure of slowly cooled chromium bronze is a two-phase mixture of chromium bronze and alpha copper. Superior mechanical properties are achieved by rapidly cooling copper-chromium alloys from the annealing temperature, so that the chromium remains in a solid solution supersaturated with copper. This is followed by an aging treatment in which the chromium precipitates from the solid solution forming a very fine dispersion of the precipitates in the matrix. Microstructure of rapidly quenched chromium copper alloy. The rapid cooling process prevents chromium from precipitation out of the solid solution, so the cast structure consists of a single-phase alpha copper structure. The first solidifying material is pure copper, followed by a eutectic mixture of alpha and chromium. Alpha and chromium eutectic materials form a lamellar structure in the interbranch regions. The microstructure of the wrought alloy consists of equiaxed, twinning grains of alpha copper solid solution. Typically, the enabler is cooled rapidly so that the chromium remains in the alpha copper solid solution. The annealing treatment allows the chromium to precipitate out of solution forming a dispersion of the chromium precipitate throughout the matrix. Chromium precipitates, or hardened precipitates, can be very fine and may not be visible at low magnification.

Kojako Vietnam currently has many different diameter sizes from 4 ~ 100mm. Chromium copper is produced in Europe with high quality extrusion casting method - High hardness & mechanical properties - Resistant to thermal abrasion and deformation - High electrical and thermal conductivity. The average hardness is from 80 ~ 85HRB and is the type with the highest mechanical properties in the Vietnamese market. Therefore, the working life time is usually increased by 2 ~ 3 times compared to conventional parts in the existing market. Kojako Vietnam has different production and quality process requirements to optimize supply quality and maintain the reputation of the Kojako Vietnam brand.
