C95500 Nickel Aluminum Bronze is a high strength nickel-bearing aluminum bronze exhibiting excellent yield, compressive strength, high hardness and adequate elongation. C95500 Nickel Aluminum Bronze based on copper and aluminum as the main elements and others such as iron and nickel. Also known as cuproaluminum. Extremely hard and tenacious material with high static and dynamic resistance, resistant to sea water, corrosion and erosion. Good performance at high temperature.

C95500 Nickel Aluminum Bronze is a high strength nickel-bearing aluminum bronze exhibiting excellent yield, compressive strength, high hardness and adequate elongation. C95500 Nickel Aluminum Bronze is a good bearing material suitable for heavy duty, high shock and high impact applications. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, heat resistance, good machinability and weldability. Additional strength can be achieved through heat treating. C95500 Nickel Aluminum Bronze is used as heavy duty bushings and bearings, gears, and wear parts. C95500 finds use in many marine applications as well as pump parts, machine tool parts, mining equipment, aircraft parts and military applications. C95500 can be continuous cast, sand cast or centrifugal cast.

Similar to other grades of aluminum bronze, C95500 contains nickel. Nickel makes C95500 aluminum bronze one of the toughest non-ferrous alloys known. The alloy exhibits exceptional yield, compressive strength, high hardness, and fairly high elongation. It is an excellent bearing material suitable for heavy duty, high shock, and high impact applications. C95500 Nickel Aluminum Bronze has good resistance to sea water corrosion, heat resistance, good machinability, and weldability.

FEATURES OF C95500 NICKEL ALUMINUM BRONZE
C95500 Nickel Aluminum Bronze has a lower rate of oxidation at high temperatures. Furthermore, C95500 Nickel Aluminum Bronze has low reactivity with sulfur containing compounds as well as other products, which are a part of exhaust combustion. The moderate content of copper present in the alloy is what gives the C95500 Nickel Aluminum Bronze resistant to corrosion in seawater. The corrosion resistance properties of this particular alloy stem from the inclusion of aluminium in the metal. Aluminium located on the surface of the C95500 Aluminum Bronze component tends to react with naturally occurring atmospheric oxygen. This reaction results in the formation of a thin, yet, tough layer of alumina or as also known as an aluminium oxide layer by manufacturers. The presence of a newly formed alumina on the surface of C95500 Nickel Aluminum Bronze acts as a bar to decay of this copper-based alloy. The addition of manganse in the alloy is also known to enhance its corrosion resistance properties.
C95500 Nickel - Aluminum Bronze "9D"
Another striking property of C95400 Aluminum Bronze is their biostatic effect, which is effective in stopping the growth of micro-organisms on the surface of the alloy. This effect has been attributed to the copper component of the alloy. Copper, in turn, has good anti-microbial as well as bacteriostatic properties, which hinders colonization by marine organisms. Which is why more often than not special C95500 Nickel Aluminum Bronze ranks amongst the most preferred alloys, particularly in comparison to stainless steel or other non-cupric alloys.
