CAC702 ALUMINUM BRONZE

CAC702 ALUMINUM BRONZE

CAC702 Aluminum Bronze is a high strength alloy, in many cases with the strength of steel plus superior corrosion resistance. These highly flexible CAC702 Nickel Aluminum Bronze  yield outstanding wear and galling resistance. Heat treatment further increases its seawater corrosion properties therefore it is widely used in marine applications.

Thông tin chi tiết

OVERVIEW OF CAC702 ALUMINUM BRONZE

CAC702 Aluminum Bronze is a kind of alloy made by mixing copper with aluminum, a little quantity of iron and nickel, and manganese. It is high in strength, has good heat resistance, seawater resistance and wear resistance, has excellent mechanical properties, is not easily eroded and has great processability in tempering and rolling, and thus is used as materials for various machines and instruments. Since it is stronger than mild steel, it is used in various machines such as paper machines, brush holders and clamps used in welding machines for the electrical industry, cog wheels, worm gears, matrixes made of metals, machine guidance devices, tools that do not spark, non-magnetic chains and anchors, and propellers for whips. CAC702 Aluminum Bronze can be welded in the method of the metal arc process and brazed (soldering on a certain alloy) with a special fusing agent.
