CUSN10-C TIN BRONZE
CUSN10-C TIN BRONZE
CuSn10-C Tin Bronze is a solid solution strengthened copper alloy with 10% tin. The high tin content results in high strength and springiness at an adequate conductivity. CuSn10-C Tin Bronze is wear-resistant, has very good corrosion resistance and can be readily soldered. Moreover CuSn10 has good sliding properties. Application of CuSn10-C Tin Bronze are stamped parts, connectors, spring contacts, springs, bushings and bearings, metal hose, the paper industry.

OVEVIEW OF CUSN10-C TIN BRONZE
CuSn10-C Tin Bronze is a copper-tin alloy and a construction material consisting of high elongations at medium hardness. CuSn10-C Tin Bronze has good wear and corrosion behavior, especially against atmospheric influences due to a dense protective layer on the surface, characterize this material. These tribological and corrosive resistances allow usage of CuSn10 as structural material for pump housings, blade wheels or hydraulic turbines. Further applications include instrument panels, diffusers, impellers, and general machine engineering.
CuSn10-C Tin Bronze
CuSn10-C Tin Bronze is a solid solution strengthened copper alloy (bronze) with 10% tin. The high tin content results in high strength and springiness at an adequate conductivity. CuSn10-C Tin Bronze is wear-resistant, has very good corrosion resistance and can be readily soldered. Moreover, CuSn10-C Tin Bronze has good sliding properties. Fields of application are stamped parts, connectors, spring contacts, springs, bushings and bearings, metal hose, the paper industry. CuSn10-C Tin Bronze, its electrical conductivity depends on chemical composition, the level of cold deformation and the grain size. A high level of deformation as well as a small grain size decrease the conductivity.

PROPERTIES OF CUSN10-C TIN BRONZE
CuSn10-C Tin Bronze CC480K EN 1982 is resistant to: Natural and industrial atmospheres as well as maritime air, drinking and service water (if the flow rate is not excessive), seawater, non oxidizing acids, alkaline solutions and neutral saline solutions. But CuSn10-C Tin Bronze CC480K EN 1982 is not resistant to: Ammonia, halogenide, cyanide and hydrogen sulfide solutions and atmospheres, oxidizing acids. Bronce alloys have an improved resistivity towards seawater and pitting corrosion.
